Boston Area Research (BARI)

This video shows the timing and location of a year's worth of requests made through the CRM system, demonstrating how service calls can act as the eyes and ears of the City, alerting city services to the needs of its neighborhoods.

The video, first shown at the Boston Municipal Research Bureau's annual meeting in March 2012, was prepared in collaboration with Curt Savoie, chief data scientist for the city of Boston, Devin Lyons-Quirk, head of the Boston About Results performance management initiative, and Dan O'Brien, BARI's research director.
